Well,
I am not a die hard online buyer of the product however, I make purchases on the basis of my need time to time. Yes, I check price, quality of the product through offline or local store before buying.
Well, when I started around 8 years back there used to be very few such e-commerce website. Now there are many and everyday we see something new. Even for the retail giants, it seems that it is inevitable to have an e-commerce site. Vijaysales.com, futurebazaar.com are few example.
I am providing here Feedback and reason with the worst website first:
1.Timtara.com
It is one of the worst e- commerce website and highly unethical orgnisation I have dealt in my life. I am saying this on the basis of several reason. An organisation's intention clearly visible on how it decorates website with false things and the way it treats its customers. This website claims that its product's price are lowest and it is true. On its website it says it creates delight moment for everybody including its customers. It also claims that its chief marketing officer has direct access to customers through contact no and email ids and so on. It also posts its customers feedback on website (which is surely not true). I tried to purchase products for my company and dropped them mail but they never responded back. Surprisingly, whenever I added products to my cart but checked out before making payment within a minute they used to call and ask reason for not making payment. One day, I finally decided to make purchase, placed order and paid the price ( for product as well as for relying on them). On website they had mentioned that the product will be delivered in 21 days and before placing order I told them that I cannot wait for 21 days. Then they told me that 21 days are maximum and product can be delivered in 7 days also. They did not do it. I took regular follow up on 7 days, 10th days, 15h days and of course on 21st and 25th days too. After a month, they informed me that the product is out of stock. What worst can be more than this !. Could not they say it before? Then I requested them to cancel my order. They dis not do it over the phone and asked me to do it online. On online it did not accept the request as booking itself was not showing. Then again I called and blasted them. Upon that they accepted my request over the phone and informed that the refund will be made in 7 days. It is more than a month and they have not done it yet. I did not rely on them and asked my bank to not authorise the transaction and charged it from them and refund to my credit card account. After a month when I called, for my surprise they informed that current status is shipment awaiting. It is hanging for more than 2 months now and if you search complaint timtara.com you will find many.
2. Fetise.com
This website sells substandard and damaged high luxury brand products and does not have product return and replacement policy.
3. Royalimages.com
Its all products are very costly compared to market and you loose money only.
4. Bagittoday.com it is part of TV today network and one of the worst e-commerce site. It sells books watches and shoes saying it is branded and of high quality. The fact is the Reebok and other brand watch they sell is of highly substandard quality (two are lying at my home luckily I did not gift it to anybody) which stopped functioning within a month and outside of the station it is available at Rs. 50 in Mumbai. Same condition is of the reebok shoes it sells at around 1500.
Now let's turn at best website
1. Firstcry.com
This is the best e-commerce website I have ever dealt. I placed order several times with it and every time I found that product here is cheaper than any other e-commerce site. Whether it is diaper or baby oil or any other products, it was cheapest. In terms of customercare too, I had the best experience. Products were delivered every time within 3 working days. Once I ordered for a baby cradle and I requested them that I need the product delivery next day. To my surprise the entire team called me and took follow up including with the courier company. The product was at my home within 24 hours. It was an amazing experience. I see a sure success for this organization. It has set value and its every employee has vision. I see lot of learning opportunity from them and as an HR Manager, I can implement those values to my current organisation.
2. Shopping.indiatimes.com
Although its prices are not always cheaper but it never cheats on customer. Sometime prices are comparatively better but delivery happens in promised duration. Product quality is also good. Its a reliable e-commerce site.
3. Saholic.com
This is part of spice mobile. Prices are moderate neither too high nor too low but delivery happens in promised days. Products quality is also good.
4.Flipkart.com
I prefer this site for buying books. Price, service and delivery all are good. Few products are costlier ere but that is inevitable.
5. Indiaplaza.in
I did a bulk dealing for my office purchase there and the product was cheapest compared to any other website. They not only delivered the products on time but also resolved the post sales issues.
