Brikesh Singh and the story of Junglistan

This is true that those who are born and grow in the silver spoon feeding can never know pain and the problem of the society.

I started participating in greenpeace activities few years back through its online petition and really liked the way greenpeace working. It is amazing to see that few people work so hard selflessly to protect the mother earth and to us so we can breath easily and we can live a better, healthy life.

I was just going through this video and this really inspires me a lot.

He got education from a small school in Ghatkopar lived in shanty in Ghatkopar, travels daily 15 KM in cycle to reach office (how many of today's youth generation "we" can do that) and now he is planning to spend a month with a tree to attract people's attention.

No need to say, everyday, purposely or innocently, knowingly or unknowingly how much we are harming to our environment and society?
Parents, who have started earning good amount of money do not want to see their children less than in a bike as they feel that riding cycle will bring disrepute to them and against of their "prestige" instead of encouraging to them and society to use bicycle for short distance (I believe riding bicycle for 8 KMs is easily possible and I have travelled few days this way only) and more, it is good for health and environment too.

Coming back to main point, Brikesh's act and the work he is doing really worth, highly appreciable, inspiring and motivating.

I request people to watch it, get inspired, fill the online petition and awake yourself, awake society and those who have slept.
