Best 5" screen android phone within 12000 Rs to buy with better storage and camera

We know the glorious era of Nokia mobile phone. It used to be people's first preferred phone. In terms of camera, durability and battery life. (I remember how popular were Nokia Ngage as a gaming phone and nokia 6600 as a camera phone. Then Nokia N72 and so on.
Now, it is matter of survival for Nokia as it has lost its market share. Still, it seems that Nokia has not learnt any lesson. Now every handset maker is coming with one or another innovative handset at much lesser price. With launch of Mi3, the war is intensified.
Yesterday, one of my office colleague was browsing through Nokia XL specification and asked my view. Since, I already have Asus Zenfone 4 and I have used it slightly, I did not recommend him Nokia XL unless he is a selfie crazy (and he is not). So I decided to look into a mobile phone below R. 12000/- Here is my take

Asus Zenfone 5, Nokia XL and Moto G in 5 inch phone category

Moto G

Asus Zenfone 5

Nokia XL

Why should you buy Asus Zenfone 5 over Nokia XL?

1. Latest Operating System:
Asus Zenfone 5 comes with Android 4.3 upgradable to Android 4.4 whereas Nokia XL comes with android 4.1.2
A better OS means you can have more latest compatible app and better performance.

2. Better processor
Asus Zenfone 5 has 1. 6 GHZ dual core processor whereas Nokia XL has only 1 GHZ dual core processor. A better processor means less hanging of the phone and better performance of course.

3. Better internal memory and expandable memory capacity
Asus Zenfone 5 has internal memory of * GB as well as 16 GB whereas, Nokia XL has just 4 GB internal memory. Internal memory comes handy when you have less storage requirement as well as when you need more internal memory for apps. Expandable memory of Asus Zenfone 5 is 64 GB through micro SD card whereas for Nokia XL, it is 32 GB. So you can store more when you need it.

4. Better RAM
Asus Zenfone has 2 GB RAM whereas Nokia XL has around 868 MB RAM. RAM is necessary if you need to use it for multiple purpose.

5. Better Battery life
The biggest problem with today's smartphones are, they are multi tasking so constantly need battery. Most of the phone need to be recharged at least twice in a day/ Asus Zenfone has 2110MaH battery capacity whereas Nokia XL has 2000 mAh battery life.

6. Better Camera
Asus Zenfone comes with an 8MP back and 2 MP front camera whereas Nokia XL has just 5 MP back camera and 2 MP front camera. Both mobile has flash. I have used 5 MP camera of Asus Zenfone 4, so it has very good clarity.

7. Better video recording
Asus Zenfone records video at  1080p @ 30fps whereas Nokia XL does it at 704 x 480 px @ 30fps. So Asus has better quality video recording.

8. Look
Asus Zenfone 5 has a better look. It gives feeling of Iphone and it is really very nice.

9. Better 3 G speed
Asus Zenfone 5 has 42.2 Mbps Download, 5.76 Mbps Upload which is much better compared to 7.1 Mbps Download, 5.76 Mbps Upload of Nokia XL. Better 3G speed is handy if you get such speed from your service provider.

10. Light weight
Asus Zenfone is 145 gms whereas Nokia XL is 190 GMs. So a lightweight phone is better than the bulky one.

I have not written in detail about Moto G as the features or more or less same of Nokia XL, only there is few changes like 3G speed is 21 MBPS, better than XL and lesser than Asus Zenfone 5. Moto G does not have expandable memory so it is a biggest drawback.

Following comparison table helps you to understand more.
