It seems Sony has decided to become most competitive technology company with one after another most innovative product completely aligning with its make.believe statement and strategy.

Sony has announced to launch Sony Xperia Z Tablet (as on 18.06.2013 it is accepting pre-booking for the tablet only).

Bravia Z engine : Bravia is known for its clarity for picture including brightness. If you go to any electronic store and check and compare screen of any other LED/LCD TV with Sony LCD/LED TV you will be easily able to spot the difference. Sony Xperia Z Tablet comes with mobile bravia 2 engine. It provides clearer, better and superb picture quality for most memorable videos and photos.

Weight : It weighs just 495 gms much lighter and much thinner in the category.

Operating system : Android 4.1 Jelly bean not sure whether it is upgradable to android 4.2

Processor : The biggest thing is that it comes with 1.5 ghz eQualcomm snapdragon Quadracore processor apq 8064 + mdm 9215m processor

Camera : it comes with rear camera of 8.1 megapixel with 16 X zoom and front facing camera with 2.2 mp with 1080p picture quality

Display : This is another advantage for which anybody will crave. It comes with 10.1" TFT screen supported with mobile bravia 2 engine with superb quality with 16777216 colours and resolution of 1920X1200 pixels which I believe is the highest in the category. It comes with multi touch capacitive touch screen.

Durability: like its mobile series it also comes with water resistance and dust proof quality so imagine you are soaked in the rain but your tablet is still safe.

Memory: RAM 2 GB

Internal memory: 16 GB (I think this is the weak point, I think they should have made it at least 64 GB) expandable through micro SD 64 GB

As a marketing strategy, Sony is launching this product at zero down payment zero processing fee and zero % interest. Such scheme was not there before and now it is available for mobile as well as Xperia Z tablet.
