Hi Friends,
Again a February, again a year and again a railway budget. I wonder whether this Railway Budget really matters to all Indian. We have seen from last several years that maximum Railway Ministers are from North India and whoever present the budget, prefers to develop their own area with political motives. Actually nation does not gain much from that. Sometime it seems that either the local people of concerned minister or the builder or industrial lobby having vested interested decide the entire speech and The "Railway Budget".
For example, during one of the budget session, it is decided that Railway Yard is going to be developed in Virar and Dahanu - Mumbai will be connected through local Railway network The network has not come yet but definitely price of the Rs. 600 PSF flat (5 years back) has gone to 4000 Rs. per sq.feet and see, who is profiting - It is builder, Rowdy, bloody murderer politician (who murdered Navleen Kumar (I wonder people even remember her sacrifice) and so called "investors".
Same situation we have seen in Panvel too. Now not going much deeper into that I would like to discuss and highlight the same (Railway Budget) here.

Now lets' have a look into this.
No increase in passenger fares
The Railway has already increased fare by almost 100%. In Mumbai, where people even in first class compartment, by paying 10 times more daily fare compared to II class and 4 times more compared to II class monthly pass travel like cattle, it is of no use. The worst part that the incompetent ministers over years did not increase significantly. There is no improvement in train at all. Most of the Mumbai Suburban railway station toilet and urinals are not suitable even for animal and highly inadequate. Can you imagine, people need to wait 5 minutes in such toilets to get their turn to answer nature's call.
Railways will absorb Rs. 850 crore on account of no hike in passenger fare
Hike is already done. They did not do it in budget due to fear of loosing north Indian vote bank so this 850 crore is not a loss at all.
Marginal increase in reservation charges, cancellation charges
It is not marginal. In sleeper class, the hike is 20 Rs. So suppose even if 1 lakh tickets in sleeper class is cancelled everyday, the earning has increasd by 20 lakhs every day. So it is just fool making tactics.
Supplementary charges for superfast trains and tatkal booking
No comments. These are the earning tactics for long.
26 new passenger trains to be launched
Only two train have come in the bag of Maharashtra which is the state where possibly highest number of bonafide travelllers travel by buying tickets.
The freebies were given mostly to north India where people feel it is their achievement to travel free, ticketless. The Dahanu-Boisar-Vasai-Diva-Panvel is a neglected area in Mumbai metropolitan region which connects major satellite town of Mumbai, it has got nothing.
67 express trains to be launched
Out of this, Maharashtra has got only following
Ajni (Nagpur) - Lokmanya Tilak (T) Express (Weekly) Via Hingoli
Madgaon - Mangalore Intercity Express (Daily) Via Udupi, Karwar
Forget about the North east, our own country's state which has lesser accessibility and still treated like as an alien by our own country people, it has got nothing. Again, most has gone to South, Gujrat and as usual to north. Do we call it national Railway Budget? We can ignore entire India for 5 year and can concentrate on developing railheads in North East. It would have connected nation well. These states would have got revenue by way of tourism. Further, these states are most civilised, fight for their rights, cast their votes by more than 85% of the population, not like we, who are educated and let goon run the nation.
Diesel price hike added Rs. 3,300 crore to fuel bill of Railways
This is another bullshit. If crude fuel prices are increasing then only it becomes burden on pocket of the Railway. Government has decided the rate so how the burden comes. Railway has various source of revenue. Advertisement on railway station, from catering from charges at IRCTC website, advertisement at IRCTC website and backside of the railway tickets, through various vendors on railway platform, advertisement in railway compartment. Where is accountability for this? Arrest 99% of the TCs and booking clercks who are corrupt, moron and B....ds. Even if TC honestly work, they will give at least 100 crore from all over India in terms of fine for ticketless travelling. Stop sending train to ticketless travellers states like Bihar and divert such train to Maharashtra, Gujrat and such other state where actual boafide travellers are more and see the difference.
Railways hopes to end 2013-14 with a balance of Rs. 12,506 crore
I do not know railways will do it or not but babus, you (bansal) and officials will do much more than this for sure.
5.2 per cent growth in passenger traffic expected in 2013-14
not important and no comments
Railways' freight loading traffic scaled down by 100 million tonnes from 1025 million tonnes because of economic slowdown
It may be due some other factors too? Who knows.

Mumbai - Solapur Express (6 Days a week) Via Pune
9 Electric Multiple Unit (EMU) trains to be introduced
As stated eralier, EMU, MEMU trains were required more in Vasai to diva Corridor so it could enhance network between central and western mumbai suburban.
500-km new lines to be completed in 2013-14
It is so pathetic. If we see list of the railway lines, we really do not know whether they really require it. Where is the North Eastern states like Sikkim, Nagaland, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Tripura etc.
The lists are:
1. Avaludatla-Vedavathy Bridge
2. Azimganj-Jiaganj
3. Bagalkot-Karkelmatti
4. Bah-Etawah
5. Bangurgram-Ras
6. Bes-Kuju
7. Bhambewa-Gohana
8. Bhind-Etawah (balance portion)
9. Chhotaudepur-Ambari
10. Dausa-Didwana
11. Dekpura-Nursarai
12. Dodhnoi-Mendipathar (balance portion)
13. Ginigera-Budagumpa
14. Gohana-Sonepat
15. Hansdiha-Bhaturia-Shikaripara-Harinsing
16. Harmuti-Naharlagun (Balance portion)
17. Hazaribagh-Banadag
18. Kadapa-Pendlamarri
19. Kawar yard and approaches
20. Khurda Town-Sunakhela
21. Mortad-Armoor-Nizamabad
22. Padma-Hazaribagh
23. Rayadurg-Avaludatta (part)
24. Tantisilwai-Hundur
25. Tiliaya-Kheraund
26. Udhampur-Katra
27. Walajah Road-Arcot
Concessional fare for sportspersons
Sorry, This facilities are only for award winner, not to all sports person
This facilities are given to recipients of Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna Award and Dhyan Chand Award. They shall be provided facility of Complimentary Card passes valid for travel by 1st Class/2nd AC. Also, Complimentary Card passes being issued to Olympic Medalists & Dronacharya Awardees shall be valid for travel in Rajdhani/Shatabdi trains, as in the case of Arjuna Awardees. Travel by Duronto trains shall Will update about rest of the points. Readers comments are also welcome.
So basically, even if you are playing hard for nation, state, national level winner you are not going to get the freebies. All these award, winner, mostly from the limelight sports like cricket and tennis will never travel from train.
5 per cent average increase in freight
It was required. Even if the freight charges increased, railway remains most accessible and cheapest way of freight handling. Government should increase a small amount every year which should not lead to inflation. With this, government need to provide more service, better service.Diesel price hike added Rs. 3,300 crore to fuel bill of Railways
This is another bullshit. If crude fuel prices are increasing then only it becomes burden on pocket of the Railway. Government has decided the rate so how the burden comes. - Railways to set up a Debt Service Fund

- Bullshit
New coach manufacturing and maintenance facilities to be set up in various places including Rae Bareli, Bhilwara, Sonepat, Kalahandi, Kolar, Palakkad and Pratapgarh
Why not in poor state like Odisha, why not in remote part of Maharashtra, why not in north eastern state, why not in Jammu Kashmir? UP Bihar, Punjab have got many things but still conditions of these states have not improved. See, when Lalu was a minister, he did for Bihar, when Mamta became minister, she did for Bengal and congress now doing for their ruled states only. This is not a democracy.
- Five fellowships to be announced to motivate students
- Centralised training institute to be set up in Secunderabad
- Useless
Will provide better living conditions for Railway Protection Force (RPF) personnel
These RPF Bas...rds are involved in rioting, looting and harassing passengers. Yesterday, they threw old couple out of train for not paying bribe and one of them died. They need a better mental treatment.
Seek to fill 1.52 lakh vacancies in railways this year. 47,000 vacancies for weaker sections and physically challenged to be filled up soon
This is nothing more than vowing the voters. It is not going to yield anything.
Trying to connect Manipur through railways
Promised thing never happens, when "trying" how will happen? We have to wait somebody from Manipur to be a Railway Ministers.
I thank Dr Manmohan Singh and Sonia Gandhi and I pay homage to Rajiv Gandhi ji who introduced me to politics
Is not it a pathetic? When somebody becomes minister, he is minister of the people, minister of the nation. Allowing them to give thanks to Gs and all these should be stopped. Politicians, Diggy, Bansal, behave responsibly.
