Unfair consumer practice of Big Bazaar

Hi,
This is the unusual post and quite different than whatever I write.
After repeated experience at Big Bazaar Thane, I felt I should write about it. This may help many consumer too.

In a previous incident, I found Big Bazaar Thane was selling Sach juice under brand name of Sachin. This juice had already expired more than 3 months back. If a local shop keeper would have done that the most corrupt FDA of Maharashtra would have taken thousands of Rs from a small shop keeper or a medical store. Before I noticed, God only knows that how many such expired products were sold at Big Bazaar.

The another case of misleading and unfair trade practice of the future retail or Big Bazaar is misleading the consumer. It happened with me twice.
Yesterday, I purchased 2 packet of Glucon D @ MRP of Rs. 135 each. As per the offer on display, the product had discount of Rs. 30 each. So, the effective price was Rs. 105 for each. Please see the image below :

However, when I checked the bill, I found that they have charged whole Rs. 135 and it was quite surprising. Please see image below:

Then I went back and protested. First, the customer care executive tried to convince me that the offer is old and not available now and it is not available in the system. I did not give up. I informed him that almost 15 days back also it had similar problem (and in fact I got money back that time too after fighting with them only ). If the issue was last time too and offer was off, why did not they bother to change it. I clearly informed them that as a consumer, I buy the product after seeing the offer only (and as per the contract Act also it was case of offer and acceptance ). finally he refunded me Rs. 60.
It may be case of negligence from the person entering schemes into the system or the operation or store manager. Equally, it is also case unfair trade practice under The Consumer Protection Act.
The matter did not end here. The same Glucon D had offer of 100 gms Glucon D free with the Glucon D pack. Big Bazaar has a crazy system. For few products, the free scheme product has to be collected from the security counter on exit. However, where buy one get 1 free offer is available, it us bundled and duly taped. Then why such system is not done for free offer product?
 Please see images below:

The security guy for my surprise informed that no such product is available. I showed him the pack and he called a Big Bazaar employee. To my further frustration, he tested my understanding of English language and my common sense. He said that the 100 gm is inside only as it says "100 gms Glucon D free WITH this pack". I again protested and informed him that I have little knowledge of English and understand the difference between "with" and "within". I showed him bet weight of the pack which was 1 kg and not 1.1 kg.
Finally, the security guy offered me alternate product and instead of 2 100 gm glucon D, he offered 100 gm govardhan ghee of MRP Rs. 47.
I was not the alone to face such situation. A lady purchased Dove soap and it had offer of free Dove lotion. The security guy forcefully gave her Vaseline.

Now, the question is, where are the free products? It is either sold by the Big Bazaar itself or the staff consumed it as in most of the cases, consumer is in hurry and they do not bother to check these small things. Last time too, I lost my 100 gms Glucon D.
Here is another case of forced selling and misleading sells. Big Bazaar, Thane is also selling Britannia Rusk I.e. Khari. It has MRP of Rs. 35 each and if you buy two it has discount of Rs. 8 on MRP. However, both the packs are bundled together so even if a consumer want to buy 1 piece, he/she cannot. How can they force consumer to buy both the products together. Is not it an unethical business practice?

Consumer beware.
1. When you buy any product at Big Bazaar, Reliance Fresh, D Mart, Easy day or any retailers or multi brand retailers or hyper market check the offer price carefully.
2. At the time of billing only, check the price printed on bill I.e. charged to you and immediately raise the voice.
3. Check the free offers and insist you get it. If you do not get it then immediately contact their customer care, owner or cash counter.
If they do not resolve it then
1. Take images of such offers, discount and also of the product.
2. Mail it to the customer care I'd of the company. Wait for a week, if it does not get resolve then file a complain to the Ministry of consumer affairs st
