Review of Micromax Canvas2 A110

Possibly this is the first time that I am writing review about a product which I have used.

I strongly believe that one should always take feedback about the product and services from the person who has actually used and experienced it. Next thing should be assessing your self need and the end user review of the product.

Well, last week I lost my mobile at Kalyan. I was returning after seeing a property and there was huge crowd in the train. Somebody stolen it from my pocket. I realised it but could not do anything. In that uncontrollable crowd and rush , I lost it. The next thing of the need is to buy a new mobile. Anyway, I did lot of research based on my need. My need :

1. I must not buy any mobile above 10000. (So I should not feel that much pain after loosing)
2. Should have good speed processor.
3. Should have good touch quality, fast response, durable

4. It should have good camera (so I can cover important things)
5. Should have sufficient internal memory so I can have all necessary application (Office, Skype, mobile banking application, email access, twitter, Navigation, linkedin, blogger, youtube, Facebook and others) Then I fixed on Canvas 2 after reading specifications and reviews. (This is the first blog I am writing using the same phone) Well, the main feature of the phablet (instead of saying it phone, I prefer to call it phablet- hybrid of phone and Tablet) It comes with 5" multi touch capacitive screen. The touch is really good and ultra responsive. Zooming using multi touch or the pinch is perfect and I loved it. Processor is fast and perfect for my need. It comes with 4GB internal memory and it is sufficient for my application need and works flawless. It comes with 8MP rear and 0.3 MP front camera and the quality of camera is good for me. I have clicked few photos. Sample one is here. I shot videos too (cannot post here as the file is much bigger). The sound and picture quality is good enough. It caters your basic mobile and picture need. drawbacks: My mobile data connection often got disconnected. I am not sure whether it is phone's fault or of my mobile service provider. If you are brand conscious and want to show people the more branded product, this mobile is definitely not for you. But if you want good mobile at low price, you can go for it. It comes with 2000 MAh battery. If you constantly use phone for social networking and gaming, do not buy it. But if you have lesser applications more calling and email access need, then it is good. On continuous use, battery may not last beyond 6 hours but specifically for calling and other purpose you need to charge once in a day. It comes with 512 internal ram so if you need HD games, this phablet is not for you. But the question is : Do you need a phone for gaming purpose? Its sound quality is good. Speaker is not too loud but enough to listen in a room. It comes with Dual LED flash but I did not like picture quality in flash. Its camera has a timer and I liked this feature. Phone seems little heavy but good. So, I recommended this phone except who constantly need fb to remain open and those who wants to play lot of game. Do not compare it Samsung Galaxy S3 as that comes at 3X costlier to this so that comes with Amoled screen quadra core processor more internal Ram but the question is what is your need. I hope this review is useful. Those who wants a better handset than this, there is a good news too. Micromax is launching A116 with quadra core processor, 1 GB RAM and HD camera which will be equivalent to Samsung galaxy S3 and will be priced at 15000/- half of the current market price of S3. I am using canvas2 for few months and very happy with its overall performance.
